Sunflower Partners makes a difference in our community. We are reaching out to like-minded organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the Botanical Garden of the Piedmont, Innisfree Village, Kindness Café, ARC of the Piedmont, and Wildrock to share our resources and services.
Housing, Housing, Housing. Throughout the country, there is a tremendous lack of resources for housing aging adults with IDD.
We plan to build an intentional, age-in-place community in Charlottesville for our workforce and for other adults with IDD. We can currently identify over 50 of us (and there are many more), with varying disabilities, in need of such a community, and Sunflower Partners will make it happen. Please keep an eye on this page to learn more about our plans as we progress.
